Ronnie Coleman (1st place) must have been really psyched and motivated in the past year. He came in looking bigger, harder, denser, and more striated than last year. He was very aware of his condition and showed it off from all 360°. Ronnie is the king when it comes to muscularity. He was given straight 1st place votes by all judges in all rounds.
Flex Wheeler (2nd place) dropped in the votes this year, getting no 1st place votes in any round. He received solid 2nd place votes from all judges in all rounds. His biggest hope was to take the symmetry round, which he did last year. In spite of the voting, he carried an impressively symmetrical physique. Arguments can be made that Flex deserved the symmetry round. He truly has a pleasing balance to his physique coupled with good fullness. Unsatisfied with his placing, after he was handed his trophy and prize money, Flex told the audience that he deserved 1st place.
Chris Cormier (3rd place) came in looking unbelievable. Jumping up from his 6th place showing last year, he received solid 3rd place votes from all judges in all rounds. He was noticeably fuller than last year, and maintained a good pleasing balance.
Kevin Levrone (4th place) maintained his ranking from last year, but came in looking like his timing was off. This year, he did not have the impressive fullness coupled with tightness that marked him as being so impressive last year. Still one of our favorites for massive yet pleasing physiques, Kevin ranked 7th in the muscularity round, 4th in the symmetry and individual rounds, and 5th in the posedown.
Shawn Ray (5th place) made it tough for Kevin, never placing more than 2 votes away from him in any round. Known for balance between fullness and tightness, Shawn placed 6th in the muscularity round, 5th in the symmetry and individual rounds, and 4th in the posedown. Shawn placed 5th last year.
Nasser El Sonbary (6th place) is always watched closely by the fans. He has amazing size and fullness. In the past, he has displayed good tightness and balance, making him a near perfect package. However, in the last few years, he has been too loose and soft. Nasser placed 4th in the muscularity round and posedown, and 6th in the symmetry and individual rounds. He was only 5 points behind Kevin and 3 points behind Shawn. Last year he placed 3rd in the final rankings.
Although his rankings have raised some controversy in the past year, Paul Dillett (7th place) has been looking pretty good. He has been thick and dense, while managing to come in tight. Paul placed 5th in the muscularity round, and 7th in the symmetry and individual rounds.
Lee Priest (8th place) was off this year. He was missing the size and hard fullness he displayed last year. Lee ranked 9th in the muscularity round, and 8th in the symmetry and individual rounds. Last year, he ranked 7th, but many fans had him as high as 2nd place.
There's no doubt Dexter Jackson (9th place) has amazing potential, considering his awesome balance and hardness. He needs to put on more size. It is his only weakness. Dexter placed 8th in the muscularity round, 9th in the symmetry round, and 10th in the individual round. He did not compete in the Olympia last year.
Milos Sarcev (10th place) is a consistent audience favorite. He receives a tremendous amount of attention from audiences because of his reputation for perfect posing routines and his aesthetic physique. He has mastered the art of physique presentation and is awesome to watch. Milos received 10th place rankings in all rounds. Last year he placed 11th.
