Jose Raymond used to be known as Tito's younger brother, and as the competitor who used to do pretty well in the natural shows. He's now a full-blown force to be reckoned with in his height class and in natural bodybuilding. He has excellent fullness to his physique and he should go even further.

Mike Valentine just came too prepared and too hard for anyone to beat. The class was tough with Tito Raymond and Stan McQuay back to back. Tito has become an audience favorite whenever he competes. Stan is becoming a classic name in natural bodybuilding, along with Bill Davey. Keep your eyes on Stan and Tito if you are looking for that marketable industry spokesperson. Stan is particularly good at hitting his poses.

Fred Bigot keeps pushing the envelope when it comes to size. He walked onstage with a thick fully-muscled look that was impressive. Johnnie Jackson is known to our readers from our Readers' Photos section. He has excellent fullness, but needs to come in a touch tighter. He's well in the ball park though. We've been noticing Eddie Linda lately, as he has been putting on some impressive size and filling out well.

Tevita Aholelei came in right on the money with unbelievable fullness and hardness to his muscles. Some of his poses, particularly his side shots, were unbelievable showing awesome balance to his full delts, arms, and glutes. Troy Alves will become a pro. It's just a matter of when. He posesses amazing thickness, shape and fullness to his upper body muscles. He could work on bringing his calves up to his upper body, but he still has an overall look of impressive power to his physique. Watch this guy anytime you see him competing. That could be the show! Branch Warren is always amazing to watch. He has an unmistakable look of fullness and thick power to his physique. He cannot go unnoticed and has developed a following. The Persian Missile Abbas Khatami keeps thickening his impressive back and legs. One begins to wonder where the limit is. The thickness to his back muscles is awesome. He is hoping to move up a weight class in 2001 at this show. Unbelievable! Robert Bonavente consistently comes in with an aesthetic physique, that is now taking on more size. He could suddenly catapult with some fine tuning and should be watched closely. John King is coming in with a progressively improved package every year. He did not compete in the last Nationals to focus on more size, and it proved to be a good strategey. His legs may be the best out there! Vic Tringali may be one of the best athletes with untapped genetics. He has the marketable looks that are so sought in the industry, and a pair of powerful legs that you can't help notice. He needs to do some work in filling out his upper body, but his potential is amazing!

If anyone was going to stop Tevita, it was Bob Cicherillo His lats by far may be the best in the industry. He possesses awesome balance to his physique and I think we have not even begun to see his potential. He is comfortable onstage posing, and a chance to see Bob compete or guest pose should not be missed. Erik Fromm is unbelievable when he nails it right. He has a good balance between thickness and hardness. Art Atwood is a new guy who recently jumped onto the national ranks. He took everyone by surprise with his awesome fullness and size. He still needs to fine tune some of his posing with simple things like keeping his heels together with a slight bend to the knees in his ralaxed front pose. He'll take off though, his size is too strong. Justin Brooks, although he did not make the cut, will remain a signifigant competitor in the sport as long as he wants to. His balance and genetics are too strong.
